CEO Roland Schreiner together with Plant Manager Erich Pably, Head of Facility Management Wolfgang Bonnet, Erding\u2019s County Commissioner Martin Bayerstorfer and Dorfen\u2019s First Mayor Heinz Grundner is digging the first hole for the new building in Dorfen. Dorfen provides us with an ideal location for our manufacturing operation,\u201d says a pleased CEO together with his father, Helmut Schreiner, who as the senior shareholder and builder-owner is responsible for the new construction project. \u201cThat we need to expand the plant after just five years is a huge success for us.\u201d In 2019, Schreiner Group had launched the Dorfen site with 25 employees\u2014today, more than 90 people are working there. Now, every one of the nearly 5,000 square meters there is being used.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1594633744978{padding-bottom: 3% !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]\u201cThe county of Erding has one of the lowest unemployment rates in all of Germany and a growing population,\u201d says County Commissioner Martin Bayerstorfer. \u201cWhy that\u2019s the case we can clearly see today with the successful growth of an industry leader such as Schreiner Group.\u201d Mayor Grundner was highly impressed by that growth as well: \u201cFor Dorfen as a business location, it\u2019s an outstanding sign that we\u2019ve been able to gain Schreiner Group for Dorfen not only as an internationally successful company but that, with its forward-looking plans, it continues to invest in Dorfen and keeps strengthening the location.\u201d[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]40 Percent More Space<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children got to enjoy a special highlight.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Nobody had expected such a large turnout: Almost 1,000 visitors flocked to the Dorfen site in spring. For the first time, Schreiner Group had opened the gates of its second German plant to the public. \u201cI\u2019ve been repeatedly asked, \u2018what, specifically, are you doing,\u2019\u201d says Erich Pably, the plant manager in Dorfen. \u201cSo, we wanted to give people an opportunity to see for themselves.\u201d Because in the case of hightech labels for the pharmaceutical industry hardly anyone has any idea of what their production looks like. Visitors also enjoyed some personal hands-on experiences: Especially for the children, printing a bag themselves was a real highlight. Using a tool, they carefully squeezed the ink through a close-meshed fabric, which playfully taught them how screen-printing works. In addition, visitors had the chance to obtain information about all products and jobs at Schreiner Group\u2014and taking a breather over snacks, ice cream, and refreshing beverages.
