Top Exhibitors at County Event

Billed as “At Home in the County of Munich,” the Munich County Commissioner’s Office for the first time hosted a market featuring ample variety. Around 20 exhibitors from the fields of arts and crafts, regional products, technology, recreation, and tourism presented themselves with creative activities. Schreiner Group as an innovative high-tech company was among the top-caliber exhibitors. At the booth of the “hidden champion” from Oberschleissheim, visitors were treated to a live experience of how screen-printing works as a trade and had the opportunity to try their skills at printing a cotton tote. In addition, we provided ample information describing what makes us so special as a successful family-owned business and top-flight employer.

The new series of events was initiated and organized by the Munich county’s head of cultural affairs Rainer Klier. “The county of Munich has a lot to offer, be it in terms of cultural activities, culinary delights, the landscape of clubs, local businesses, and more. AT HOME is designed to be a platform on which local exhibitors, regional customs, and cultural life can showcase themselves and network with each other. I’m delighted about many visitors from our whole region having attended in order to join exhibitors and clubs to show what characterizes the county of Munich,” said Klier.

County Commissioner Christoph Göbel opened the eclectic market and was obviously fascinated by the variety of booths.

Print technician apprenticeships at Schreiner Group enjoy an excellent reputation: Apprentices operated the booth, showing visitors how to print totes using screen-printing technology.

Schreiner Group relocated its headquarters from the city to the county of Munich 30 years ago. “An outstanding choice,” says CEO Roland Schreiner. “In 1993, we moved into a one-story building in Oberschleissheim with 160 employees. Today, the site is home to a high-tech plant with a footprint of roughly 60,000 square meters and more than 1,000 employees, and we’re among the companies in the county recording the strongest growth.”
