Prestigious Award for Roland Schreiner
SCHREINER GROUP
Prestigious Award
for Roland Schreiner
This year, the audit and consultancy firm EY has selected the best owner-managed companies in Germany for the “Entrepreneur Of The Year” award for the 25th time. Following a challenging selection process, our CEO, Roland Schreiner, became a finalist in the prestigious competition. “I am delighted that this award recognizes our successful business development and therefore enhances our visibility as a ‘hidden champion,’” the CEO of the international high-tech company commented on having reached the final round.
Konrad Meyer, an EY Partner and Head of the Munich office, explained the context of this year’s award: “The pandemic, digital transformation, and the convergence of entire sectors pose challenges to the economy. Entrepreneurs who successfully navigate these turbulent times are doing a very special job. The ‘EY Entrepreneur Of the Year Award’ highlights these achievements and makes them visible.” Together with Steffen Schwesig, Regional Manager and Director of Liechtenstein LGT Bank AG–a long-standing partner of the competition—he presented Roland Schreiner with the finalist award at the end of September. Both gentlemen were obviously impressed by Schreiner Group’s headquarters in Oberschleissheim. “The award recognizes the entrepreneurial achievement, the entrepreneur’s leadership, and his social engagement. Equally considered by the independent jury of renowned experts are the company’s innovative prowess, sustainability of growth, and forward-looking potential,” said Meyer.
The winners of the business competition were announced at a hybrid event in Berlin, in other words both on-site at Verti Music Hall and online, on November 4, 2021. The awards were presented in the categories of “Family Businesses,” “Innovation,” Sustainability,” and “Young Companies.” The finalists to whom the renowned trophies were ultimately awarded had not been determined by the time Forum went to press.
