Modern Apprenticeships –
Focus on Top-Class Training Shop

Apprenticeship training enjoys a very high priority at Schreiner Group. It is not only known for its top quality but also considerably helps secure the innovative high-tech company’s future. In 2022, Schreiner Group opened a training shop dedicated to technical vocations where hands-on onboarding takes place. The young apprentices can perform, repeat, and optimize individual training modules on dedicated machines. This innovative training center was the focus of attention at a high-caliber press conference in November.

At the end of last year, the Regional Directorate Bavaria of the Federal Employment Agency conducted its annual assessment of the training and educational market in the state at Schreiner Group’s training center, which included a tour of the apprenticeship shop. Delegates from various organizations and associations in the area of training and education presented their perspectives on the subject to print and TV journalists in Oberschleissheim and were obviously impressed by the hands-on and innovative approach used by the shop.

Addressing the attendees of the press conference, CEO Roland Schreiner explained what makes apprenticeships at Schreiner Group so unique.

In summary, CEO Roland Schreiner said, ”In 2022, it was a challenge to find enough new apprentices. That’s why I’m particularly happy that we managed to fill all 21 planned vacancies effective September 1. In a total of 14 vocations, we’re currently training about 50 apprentices—ranging from commercial industrial managers to media technologists to IT specialists. Former apprentices are found in all areas of our international family-owned company. More than 10 percent of our 1,200 employees started their careers here as apprentices.”
