Enormous Growth: 30 Successful Years in Oberschleissheim

What started with a headcount of 160 and just one building in 1993 today is a high-tech plant with a footprint of some 60,000 square meters and more than 1,000 employees that’s characterized by customer-focused innovations and high-tech labels: 30 years have passed since the forward-thinking move to our current headquarters on Bruckmannring in Oberschleissheim. The pictures on this page impressively document the company’s successful development.

1993

The success story in Oberschleissheim started with one single-story building. Then CEO and current senior shareholder Prof. h. c. mult. Dr. h. c. Ing. Helmut Schreiner (left) was thrilled by the conditions on Bruckmannring and pleased by the support of then Mayor Hermann Schmid. In 2005, the building was extended by a second floor.

2002

Around the turn of the millennium, Schreiner Group really picked up pace on Bruckmannring: 1999 saw the construction of the second building. The company received its current name and established business units. Barely three years later, the third building was erected (see pictures)— specifically for clean room production. At that time, the company with 460 employees generated annual sales of 67.1 million euros.

2016

Topping out ceremony for the “Green Building”: In 2016, Roland, Ulrike, and Helmut Schreiner together with Oberschleissheim’s then Mayor Christian Kuchlbauer and his predecessor Elisabeth Ziegler celebrated the construction of the sixth building at the headquarters. A special feature of the complex is that all of Schreiner Group’s buildings are connected to each other by bridges and underpasses.

2023

The first building dating to 1993 was soon joined by others: CEO Roland Schreiner (left) welcomed the current mayor of Oberschleissheim, Markus Böck, at the headquarters on Bruckmannring in Oberschleissheim this spring. Today, Schreiner Group encompasses six office and production buildings plus two parking garages there—and there’s more to come: before the end of the year, a building with a 300-square-meter footprint for several heat pumps will be completed.
