Schreiner Group has been recognized with the IKOM Employer of the Future 2020 Award. IKOM is the student career forum at Technical University of Munich (TUM). The prize is presented by IKOM, vbw, the Association of Bavarian Business, and TUM. It recognizes medium-sized companies for particularly ethical management practices and is intended to make it easier for graduates to choose an employer.

When students start looking for potential employers, medium-sized, regional companies are rarely their first choice although especially mid-sized businesses often excel in terms of sustainability commitment and social engagement. The IKOM Award is intended to shine a spotlight on these hidden champions. The jury consisting of leaders from the business community, academia and society rates the implementation of a wide variety of ethical criteria and in 2020 selected Schreiner Group in the category of companies with 500 to 1,500 employees.

In supporting Schreiner Group’s selection for the award, the jury emphasized the commitment of the family firm to Bavaria, where the internationally successful high-tech company has been doing business and displaying strong corporate citizenship ever since it was established.
