In 2022, the county of Munich announced the first competition for a “Future-Award” to recognize eleven individuals, initiatives, and companies that have distinguished themselves by assuming responsibility for a social, environmental, and climate-friendly future in the county of Munich and beyond. Schreiner Group is one of the winners. “We are very proud that our long-standing and intensive commitment to sustainability in our region has met with such positive response,” said CEO Roland Schreiner on behalf of the entire workforce.

The judging panel of the competition billed as “Responsibility. Innovation. Sustainability.” evaluated achievements or solutions in the action fields of Economy, Community, and Environment. The judges were particularly impressed by Schreiner Group’s “holistic and versatile commitment.” “As a successful ‘hidden champion,’ Schreiner Group is one of the driving forces of our local economy. I am delighted that Schreiner Group is working toward a livable future in the county of Munich in such innovative and sustainable ways and would like to express my appreciation for the untiring efforts and resourcefulness of all the employees involved,” County Commissioner Christoph Göbel said during the awards ceremony.
