Brian Zumbolo:
New US President at US Plant

There’s a new president in the United States—at least at Schreiner Group LP. Brian Zumbolo, an experienced top executive, took the helm of the plant in Blauvelt near New York City in July 2023. The branch was established in 2008. Today, more than 80 employees are manufacturing products there for the entire North American market.

Schreiner Group’s U.S. plant was personally founded 15 years ago by CEO Roland Schreiner, then president of the MediPharm business unit. 15 successful years in which Gene Dul, who entered well-deserved retirement in the middle of 2023, successfully led the plant. In Brian Zumbolo, Schreiner Group found a worthy successor. “I’m delighted that we were able to secure the services of such an experienced leader for our biggest international plant so quickly,” said CEO Roland Schreiner. “With his experience and visions, Brian Zumbolo is a major gain for Schreiner Group.”

Zumbolo makes it clear at the outset that he has big plans as the new president. “Schreiner Group has developed really well in the United States in recent years—now the opportunity exists to raise the company to a new level in terms of growth and expansion,” he says about his job—and announces a clear course for growth. “I believe that Schreiner Group still has major market potential in the United States. Going forward, I see ourselves on a level that’s similar to the one in Europe
today.”

The new U.S. president knows exactly what he’s talking about. In the past, he was active in Schreiner Group’s two key markets, healthcare and mobility, most recently for a major automotive supplier. He has experience in developing new markets, in acquisitions, in developing customer specifications, and in building strong teams. Based in China, he ran the Asia-Pacific business of a big American company for six years. Zumbolo hails from a place near Blauvelt and after 25 years abroad is glad to be coming home with his family: “I’m very happy to be back in New York.”
